How to install a language pack

Download

Pick the language you need from the table below and download its installer.

Install

Run the downloaded .exe and follow the short setup. The pack registers with your Okdo software automatically.

Re-run & convert

Next time you start an Okdo OCR-capable converter and turn a scanned image into editable Word, RTF, TXT or HTML, the new language is available in the OCR list.

Good to know

  • Language packs are free and do not require a separate purchase.
  • They add recognition support only — you still need an Okdo OCR-capable converter (listed below) to actually convert scanned images.
  • Packs install to the same machine as your Okdo software; they are not portable across PCs.
  • Default languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) are included and need no download.
